Life Cycle Costing of Batteries, challenges and outlooks, webinar
January 24, 2024, the TwinVector project organized a second Online Webinar. This time our excellent partner Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) prepared a super interesting and even more important topic “Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) Building and Modelling for Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of Batteries”.
On the webinar participants had a possibility to explore the economic landscape of Sodium-ion batteries (SIBs) as a viable alternative to lithium-ion batteries with Jens Peters, an associate professor at the Department of Economics, University of Alcalá, Madrid.
Also it was a great opportunity to delve into the world of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) with Manuel Baumann and Hüseyin Ersoy, the researchers at the Institute for Technology Assessment and Systems Analysis, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
